All about Feng Shui

Do you feel that wind chimes, laughing Buddhas, fountains and their placements in certain spots are part of feng shui? Well, you are right. They are all significant in the
world of feng shui.

In factuality, Feng Shui is a life force energy that needs to be in constant flow. Feng (wind) represents breath, the life force energy. Shui (water) represents a flow, a journey.

We are surrounded by cosmic energy within and outside us, which permeates our surroundings and has a direct bearing on our lives. Feng shui is the science of balancing, understanding, and working harmoniously with this cosmic energy. If we block this energy, it creates stagnation in different areas of our life.

Feng shui works with the floor plan of our homes / workplace, our energies, and elements of nature. It uses the Bagua map — energy map — that when applied on our floor plan tells our past, present, and future.

Feng shui is based on the principles of science, ecology, design, and intuition:

  1. The ‘Earth luck’: universal energies present in space and time.
  2. The ‘Human luck’: actions based on our choice of free will.
  3. The ‘Heaven luck’: karmic lessons which we have contracted
  4. The Law of Appropriateness: What I feel appropriate for me, is appropriate for me in the Here and Now
  5. The Law of synchronicity: Appropriate action at the appropriate time puts you in the appropriate place with the best optimization of energy.

The elements of nature — fire, water, metal, wood, earth, space — are present in our homes in various forms. Once we learn to balance our energies and synchronize it with the natural elements, nature starts to reward us with harmony, happiness, peace, and abundance.
